Another one bites the dust!

OUCH! Our cute little puppy bit Gavin's face over the weekend! I know, crazy to think he'd do that. But in Cooper's defence Gavin was antagonizing him, repeatedly. I warned Gavin to stop (and I should of taken Cooper outside, I knew he'd had enough of the G-man) but I didn't. Gavin went over for one final tease and wham! Cooper growled and bit him in the face. The bottom wound was real deep and made us all a little worried. Scott took Gavin to the ER. Thank goodness Cooper and Gavin are up-to-date on all their shots. He received some anti-biotic, just in case. He's doing better now. We had to call the Police and Animal Control. It was a big 'ol ordeal. Now everything has calmed down and Gavin still loves his puppy, Cooper. Not sure how Coop feels towards him though! :)

Almost Brothers

We all love our sweet puppy, Cooper. He is so fun and the kids just love him. But there is one boy that thinks Cooper is another brother to him. He talks to him all the time. They go on walks and are always together. It's real cute. It's funny because sometimes Gavin gets all frustrated because he tells Cooper to do something and Cooper just looks at him. He doesn't quit understand.

Much Love

The other day we took little Coop in to get a bath, hair cut and his nails trimmed. He was only gone 3 hours or so. When we; Gavin, Brigham and myself, came to pick him up the cutest thing happened! Brig's became so excited when Cooper came out. He started flapping his arms up and down, legs kicking all over the place, and almost screaming "Pu-pu". I put little Coop in the cart right next to Brig. Brig became hugging and kissing Cooper all over the place. Cooper seemed excited to see us too, but Brigham was like a kid in the candy store. It was so dang cute. He truly has a lot of love for our newest addition.

Cooper!

What a GREAT little puppy Cooper has turned out to be. He is great with the kids. He follows me around like a little shadow. We've taken him to doggy obedience lessons and he's doing really well. It's an 8-week course, and we have only gone 3 times. But the 6 tricks they taught us he has already picked up on and doing great.

Coop will run after his toys we throw, snuggle on the couch with us and even sleep on the boys bed when they're sleeping.

Our newest addition is officially going to be called Cooper!

Cooper T-Bone Winston the III.

A little background to his name first. We have this cute little bird who comes and visits our house for the past 2 years now. He comes only at night and will perch on one of the nails under our patio. The boys always enjoy seeing him, and he is quit a cute little thing. So, when we got a new puppy Cooper was one of the first names the boys and Scott and I liked. We have a few other's on the table, but we all ended up just calling him Coop, or Cooper.

He has been such a great little pup so far! And easy! We all just love him. Cooper has not nipped, or barked at all. He goes potty outside regularly and is so sweet with the boys.

**An extra special THANK YOU goes out to Paul and Laura who had no hesitation in letting us use the same name as their sweet little boy. We wanted to double check and make sure they were okay with it and they laughed at the thought that it might have been offensive to use the name. Thank you SO MUCH for your understanding. We LOVE you guys!
