Sunday Family Photos - Part 2 - Weeks 14-26

As one of my New Year's resolutions, I wanted to try this year to take a family picture every Sunday. Sometimes Scott is at work or someone is sick and doesn't go to church or we're on vacation...Whatever the situation, though, we take a photo to document our family. It's been awesome so far, and I thought I'd share the second 13 weeks with you.

I sure am a lucky mama! This group is not only handsome, but they are so fun!

Family Pictures 2014

I always wanted to get married and become a mom.
I always wanted lots of kids.
I always wanted lots of BOYS.
Well, I got everything (and more) than I could possibly wish for.

I knew Scott and I were great together and we would start a family, but really who knew it would be like this? It's loud, messy, stinky, crazy and so worth it. We always have a good time. I wouldn't change a thing! I love Scott with all my heart. He's my whole entire world...I totally married up! Then there's all these handsome, smart, outgoing, fun boys. WOW!!! I'm more than lucky. I'm more than blessed.

We had a blast taking these family pictures. (Along this super cool fence between the Salt Lake Zoo and the This is The Place Heritage Museum)

Here I am surrounded by all my wonderful boys!! Blessed x8!!

Christmas Pictures

Here is our Christmas card this year. Above is the front and below is the back...or visa versa.

It was super fun taking these pictures. We went to a local apple orchard, which was so beautiful and fun for the boys to run around at; though, Preston kept eating apples. In fact, every single picture that I took of him had him holding or eating an apple! I was able to capture each of the boys separately, as well as several group poses and other small groupings.

Look at those faces! Adorable!

Here are all the new pictures of the boys. They changed so much from last year. Growing into men and growing up too fast!

Will is 14 years old and in the 9th grade. He plays football, lacrosse,  and is an avid skier.  He has straight A's in school and recently made it into the musical at Evergreen Jr.

Jackson is 12 years old and recently received the priesthood. He is in the 7th grade and loves being at the Junior High. He loves to draw, read, write stories and he is the best babysitter! He is always so compassionate and caring to his brothers, especially with Preston.

Tyler is 10 years old and in the 5th grade at Rosecrest Elementary. He lead his team into the football championships, loves snowboarding, lacrosse and basketball. He is a natural at any and all sports. Tyler is also pulling straight A's and trying to compete with Will.

Gavin is almost 8 years old and in the 2nd grade. Gavin skis with Will every chance that they get. He also loves basketball. Gavin has many young girls that gush over him, because he is such a flirt! Gavin is still playing the violin and excelling at it! It's so cute to watch him play.

Brigham is almost 6 years old and is in Kindergarten, though he wishes he was in the 3rd grade. Brigham loves playing basketball and is the lead scorer for his team. Brigham started the cello earlier this year and has been doing great at it! He just attempted skiing, and is already ready for some bigger runs.

Nathan is 4 years old and in preschool. Nathan loves to play with his brothers and he is always trying to imitate them. He has a great smile and a loving personality.  He is very creative and is always trying to make things with Legos or Play-doh.

Preston is 17 months old, though I wish he was still a newborn! He's starting to talk, play, and his personality is definitely shining through. He loves his brothers, well most of them! He is also still such a snuggle bug, which I absolutely love.

Outtakes

We took family pictures a few weeks ago in an apple orchard. It was fun, but it sure is hard getting 7 little, energetic bodies to hold still, smile, and not move for several minutes. Here are just a few of the outtakes of our adventure.

Look at cute little Nathan in the middle with his mean guy scowl.  Watch out, he's about to punch you out!

And then the next one is a tad too smiley. He is such a ham!

Preston kept eating apples the entire time we were there. So 99% of the pictures he has an apple in his hand and a mouthful as well.

I asked Will to smile and he gave me this sleezy pose.

Nathan is totally done with posing, Preston is still chomping away and Brig's is getting into it. What's up?

 More apple tasting.

I have no idea what Jackson is doing, but he sure is a cutie!!

I will be posting the real pictures later!! Stay tuned!
