Following Dad

Several days ago it snowed... and snowed... and snowed. We have a very long driveway, and so it takes a while to clear the snow. While Scott was out plowing the snow in the driveway, Preston chased after him and followed him the entire time. It was adorable!

He turned around at one point to make sure I was watching him the entire time. He would turn around, yell "MOM" and then either wave or blow kisses to me. 

Then, Preston would stand back while Scott turned the blower around and come back up the driveway. How precious!! 

Sledding Fun!

 A couple of weeks ago it dumped on us. I think we got something like 2 feet of snow! It was awesome. It was beautiful! We waited a day and headed out to play in it! There are a ton of great places to go here in the Millcreek area. Everyone sledded, boarded, threw snowballs and we all made a HUGE snowman. What fun! We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful part of America.

Sledding!!!

 How awesome are these two shots of the boys sledding yesterday at Sugarhouse park. Scott and I picked up the two little ones from preschool and kindergarten with all their snow gear in the car and sleds and took them sledding. It was a great surprise! We stayed for over an hour sledding, boarding, building snowman, having snowball fights, making snow angels and making many fun memories.

 Look at his face, he is such a ham! LOVE this kid!

 Cute Naters went down several times, but only wanted to go down with Scott. Here he is helping dad pull up the sled.

 Gavin went sledding a few times but boarded most of the time, he is doing so well! Even after he bites it, he'll get right up and climb that hill again!

 I saw this yesterday...how funny! Poor dog was exhausted after pulling his friend up a few times!

 Dad making snow angels and of course Brig's wanting to copy dad! While they were laying there making snow angels Nathan kept making snowballs and throwing them at Scott and Brigham! He kept laughing and laughing thinking he was so funny! And it was!

Sledding...Finally!

On Saturday it snowed...finally! So we all went sledding! We were there for almost 3 hours and had a blast!

 Tyler and Gavin snow boarded and did a great job!

Skiing!!

 Last Wednesday Jackson and I went skiing at Snowbird. It was so much fun! We bought a bunch of gear last season when it was all on clearance! We bought Jackson a 5th grade ski pass for $20.00 which allows him to ski 4x at each resort in Utah! Great deal! There was a Groupon to rent all our equipment for 50% off the entire season!! Skiing and snowboarding are an expensive sport!

 Jackson did great! He kept beating me down the hill and would ride the lift alone to try and beat me again! I haven't gone skiing since 9th grade! It has been too long. I am so glad I finally went again. I LOVED it! It was so fun!

 You like my PINK goggles, and headband? Scott picked that out for me...perfect!

Will came a little later and boarded the rest of the day with us. He was very frustrated at first then got the hand of it. He's loves it now too!

First Snow!

We sure had fun these past few days playing outside, building snowman, having snow ball fights and sledding!

Look what we woke up to!

Almost 2 feet of beautiful white snow! I love it!

Snowman

 Every time it snows Gavin begs us to help build him a snowman. We left early this morning and were out for most of the day. When we finally returned Gavin headed to the side yard and started on his snowman. He came in about 20 minutes later for some buttons, a scarf and a carrot. He needed a little help from Scott and I but he made most of this himself!!

Holy SNOW Batman!

Yesterday, it snowed. And snowed. And snowed some more. Right after we'd shovel it all away....it would look like we never worked on it. Wowza!

To the side of the flag pole we made a ramp that the boys started using for their snowboards. After the snowfall we added to the ramp with a slide that elbows to the right and heads down the side stairs to the side yard. It's pretty sweet! (pictures on that later!)

 All the boys at work! Tyler even shoveled one of our neighbor's yard for them. He asked me if he could. Of course! How nice was that?!

It's so beautiful! We all love the this weather!
