"Can-Cakes" Activity

 This morning the Service Club was in charge of the "Can-Cakes" activity. Students had to bring in two non-perishable food items and they would receive FREE pancakes and juice. (They usually have the "Pancakes and Pumpkins" activity which is kinda the same thing. But on that morning of the event the power went out at the school. So, we rescheduled it and re-named it!)

We had a great turn out! There were over 100 students who donated and ate breakfast with us. The Service Club members helped a great deal! We ended up with four large boxes (almost) full of can goods, that will be donated to a local food shelter!
