Egg Hunt and Home Depot

 Before leaving on our trip to Goblin Valley, the boys had the opportunity to go to the Millcreek Park for an Egg Hunt over Easter Weekend.  In the first and second pictures, you can see Brigs (white & blue T-shirt) and Nathan (red sweatshirt) ducking under the barrier and going after the eggs.

 And here is Preston in the white T-shirt and his hat.

 They got quite the hall of eggs, and Preston even got a larger egg that allowed him to win an Easter-themed music box.

From there, we headed to Home Depot where the older boys paired up with a younger boy to work on the Kid's Craft. It was a planter box craft. Will helped Brig's, Tyler helped Preston, Jackson helped Nathan and Gavin worked on his project all by himself. They all turned out cute. The rest of the day was spent cleaning the house, packing and then playing with neighbor friends. 

Fire Safety Day!

At Home Depot there was a huge fire safety day. There was a fun and creative craft the boys made. It was a fire house money bank. There was a jumper, cotton candy, popcorn, carnival games, police cars, a firetruck to tour, and a fake house that the kids were able to practice escaping if it caught on fire. We met some of our other friends from our ward there. It was a fun and an informative event, especially with Nana and Papa there. Nana helped Jackson built his piggy bank, Papa helped Tyler, Scott helped Gavin, and Will made his himself. They got a few stickers and other little fire fighter trinkets.

Home Depot

The first Saturday of every month is Home Depot day! We have taken our boys there for years, and they just love it. They each have 3 or 4 Home Depot orange aprons, Home Depot Hats and many, many pins. For each craft the child does they receive a collectors pin that they can wear on their apron.

It's fun for boys and girls!

Even when we're on vacation we'll find a Home Depot and go do the activity. Will does the entire project on his own now. Jackson is almost there. Tyler and Gavin need a little more help but they still hold pieces together and hammer away. There are children's hammers and children's goggles for them to use. The boys love to wear the goggles and use the smaller hammers.
