First and Last Day

Every year I take a ton of photos of the boys on their first and last day of school and see a huge difference; but this year I really didn't see a difference in the boys...It's weird!

All the boys had another great school year. All the boys did good to great with grades and improvement overall. Surprisingly, they all love every year when it is time to head back to school, though it's mostly to see their friends again. And they are also super excited when it all comes to an end.

I too have been excited to say goodbye to school for a couple months. We've planned a fun, jam packed summer with lots of different activities. Before I know it, school will start up again. And I'll be ready for it.

Preschool Graduate...Finally

Nathan is FINALLY done with preschool. He's been attending the preschool program for 3 years and is so ready to move up to Kindergarten! Because his birthday is in late September, he missed the cut-off date (which I absolutely hate!)

The program was cute, those little voices singing...As you can plainly see Nathan is at least a head above everyone else!

The next morning, Nathan was getting dressed and grabbed his backpack on the way out the door. I thought he was just coming with me to take the boys to school. After talking about it with him, he thought school started for him. Nathan thought is was the first day of Kindergarten! I wish!

Goodbye Elementary School

Happy day! On June 3rd at 8:30 am Tyler, and many others, celebrated their 6th grade Promotion. It was a short and sweet program. There were musical numbers and speakers. Mr. Grant from the Jr. High spoke, as well as Mrs. West the principal. Nana and Papa flew into town and Scott had the morning off so we could all be a part of this special event.

Tyler was one of the children who spoke at the promotion. ( I was short a speaker and made him do it!)

After shaking hands with Mrs. West, his teacher, Mr. Frank, and the other 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Emery, Tyler took off and ran across the stage...

Did a heel click...and pretended to expose his chest like Superman (just like he does after scoring in football!) Such a funny kid!

Tyler pulled straight A's all year long. He was an excellent student that pushed himself mentally and physically. Tyler has a lot of friends, many interests and loves to try new things. He is READY for 7th grade and can't wait to go to Evergreen Jr. High next year. Great job Tyler. We love you!!!

Alice in Wonderland

Last week Tyler was March Hare in the musical, Alice in Wonderland Jr. at his school, Rosecrest Elementary. He was terrific!!! The entire musical was great. The costumes were beautifully made. The props and background were great. The choreography was impressive (for an elementary school) and the students all did a fantastic job.

GREAT job everyone!! We are all still singing those catchy songs here at my house!!
