Fall!!

 The leaves are changing and fall is upon us. I love, love, love this time of year. It's my most favorite month and time of year.
The boys and I headed up to Millcreek Canyon to take pictures, play in the leaves and hike around. It was cool, breezy, and so beautiful!

 

I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful place and especially to have such wonderful children!

Hoot, Hoot!

 Here are my adorable 7 owls I made from scrap fabric for the fall time. I plan on making two more larger ones, to complete the family.

 Nathan helped choose which fabric to use. I drew an owl and a piece of paper, pinned it to both fabrics and cut. Sewed around most of it, turned it inside out, ironed it, stuffed it, finished sewing it and added some eyes and a beak. Done!

Here is the back of the owls. Another cute, easy project that anyone could do. WHen Scott came home from camp he asked me why I needed to make owls. I don't know. They're cute, so I did!

Gettin' Ready for Fall!!

On of my neighbors had a ton of corn this year and let me cut down a few of the stalks to decorate my front porch! I gathered a bunch and tied them together with a cute black and white gingham ribbon. Soon, there will be a scarecrow sitting on the bench! I HEART fall time!

A little Fall Decorating

We took down all the Halloween stuff and put out a few things for Thanksgiving. I took some cute pictures of this awesome pumpkin patch in Santa Barbara of the boys and of the different fall things they had there. I blew them up and put them in frames around the house. It adds a little and it's fun to see how the boys have grown.Wow, Christmas is right around the corner. Time is going by fast, which I love because that means the sooner we move! YEAH! I told Scott right after the holidays I'm going to start packing up the house. We don't move until June!

Anyways, we love Thanksgiving time. I love fall. I love cooler weather. I love the colors of fall. I love pumpkins. I love turkey with cranberry sauce.
