What a GREAT job he did! As he was practicing and playing Nana and Papa came home. Brig's was so excited to see them (they were gone for about 20 minutes!) He ran over and wanted to climb in and drive with Nana!

Here we are at the last Christmas party of the season...Santa and Santa Jr. How cute! This party was ASU campus family housing party. Outside there was an area to roast marshmallows, and inside were games, hot cocoa, and SANTA!! It was a lot of fun and the boys had a great time. 
Update: I did great! A fantastic week! (My mini goal last week was to pray perfectly....Really meaning more often!) There were a couple times I forgot, then I would pause right then and there and have a little prayer! I don't think the kids noticed, but I sure did. My prayers became more thoughtful, more specific. It was a really neat week.
Something I have been doing is taking a little from each week. For example, eating no later than 9pm (originally was 7pm), working out more often, and last week praying better. I will keep these mini goals up and add another one...
This will be a little tricky because we're leaving first thing in the morning to Cali! We're staying in San Diego for a few days to go to Sea World, then we're off to Santa Barbara to celebrate Christmas with Nana and Papa (and all our other wonderful family and friends! So excited to see you guys! Let the Scene-It game marathon begin!)
This week's goal is.....to watch my language. I do have a little potty mouth, and more importantly I have lots of little ears listening to me. Even the "small" words like stupid and shut up. Sometime Scott is telling me this crazy story, or vice-versa and one of us will say, "Shut up!" Meaning, "no way!" And the boys hear that. There has also been a few incidences at the park where big kids are swearing at my kids. Like saying real bad words to Brig's! HELLO! So, I will be better and really focus on how I am speaking around my boys. But when they're not around I'm going to let loose...Just kidding! :)

Here we are at the big boys Christmas program at school. These boys are kind, funny, active, smart, talented wonderful kids. I hope each of you get the chance to know them. I am so lucky and blessed to be their mom and have them apart of my life!
Last night was Scott's work Christmas party and guess who came by for a little visit? SANTA! Before his appearance we ate a delicious prime rib dinner with all the fixin's! 
Here good 'ol Tyler with a plate full of MEAT! He is for sure our carnivore! 
Santa came and again, all the kids were ecstatic to see him and to sit on his lap to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Gavin stood close and handed out candy canes to the children after they were done chatting it up with Santa. Will brought Santa a pen and a piece of paper so he could get Santa's autograph!
Brig's was in the stroller and I kept inching him closer and closer to the big man in red and he did not like one bit of it! Brigham kept laying farther and farther back in his stroller. I unbuckled his seat belt and he looked at me with a nasty scold on his face and shouted, "No, mama!" When the trauma was over Scott...I mean Santa handed him a candy cane and Brig's walked right over to him, grabbed it and ran away! So funny!
After there was a gift exchange and dessert. It was a lot of fun!
Our ward Christmas party was last weekend and it was a lot of fun...Especially at the end when Santa came for a little visit! This was the first Christmas party in 4 years we've been to that Scott wasn't dressed up like St. Nick! The boys asked if dad was planning on helping Santa out this year for the party and we told them no. Gavin was acting all bummed and said he wanted dad to be Ho-Ho again this year!
Gavin, Tyler and Jackson were all excited to meet Santa, sit on his lap and to explain in detail the list of toys they each wanted for Christmas. As Scott and I sat there watching, listening and taking pictures, there were 2 more boys that needed to sit with Santa and have their picture taken also. One LOVED the experience and the other did not. At all. Check out the pictures and you tell me which was which! :)
This afternoon was the boys Christmas program at school. It was really cute. Gavin, who is in preschool there was first. All the children in his class were dressed up like reindeer. And they sang, Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. Gavin was acting pretty shy and then finally was scoping out the audience for Scott and myself. Right in the middle of the song he spots us and starts smiling real big and waving to us! 
Next up was Tyler's first grade class. They sang Feliz Navidad, hence the sombrero's they were sporting! They made these cute hats earlier in the week.
Jackson came in third with his class who all wore white shirts, Santa hats and had bells and sang Up on a House Top. His class is pretty large and they sang real loud. They had cute hand singles too.
Last, but not least, was my Will. His class was very professional and walked reverently onto the stage and used the risers and had singing booklets. They sang Jingle Bells in German. They sounded pretty dang good. A mini chore.
