Temple Lights

During the holiday season a must is walking around Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. It's breathtaking. It's always so beautiful. I am especially thankful to live so close to the Salt Lake City Temple, where Scott and I were sealed for time and all eternity almost 16 years ago.

Tulips and the Temple

The temple is so lovely this time of year with the tulips in full bloom and other plants and trees just starting to bud.

28 weeks and feeling great! (This dress does not photograph well...I'm getting a little sick just looking at it!) Cute Nathan has started pointing to my belly and saying "Hi baby!" and also kissing the baby! So cute!

Springtime at the temple!

On Thursday we headed to the temple to witness a cousin's wedding. We arrived a little early to walk around the grounds and snap some shots of the beautiful temple! Everything in bloom, it was gorgeous there!

Man, am I lucky!

The Falls

I forgot to add some pictures of the Temple and the falls together.

Idaho Falls Temple

On our way to Yellowstone for Spring Break we stopped off in Idaho to see this beautiful temple! (It was Scott's and the boys first time in the state of Idaho!!) It is such a beautiful building. We walked around it and went through the visitor's center.

Christmas Eve at Temple Square

Next we went to Temple Square and walked around to see the lights.

Yes, Scott has Gavin on his shoulders and Nathan in the backpack on his back!

My mom hasn't been to the temple during the holidays in too many years. Papa Bill has never gone before. It was a wonderful experience for us all!

Temple Square Lights

Last night we went with 17 cousins to BEAUTIFUL temple square. It was pretty crowded, but worth the trip. There are so many lights and other decorations. We had a blast. Here is Schmitty (Greg) wearing his son's coat as a hat!
The Thompson clan snappin' a shot in fron the temple where Scott and I were sealed! WHat a wonderful experience to share with the boys last night!

Now he's wearing one of the GIRL cousin's head warmer. He is so much fun!
It was Alison's 13th birthday, so of course we all embarrassed her and sand "Happy Birthday" like 5 times!

We are so lucky to live close st so many temples here in the Salt Lake valley. It is a true blessing we live here and are able to share this with our children.

Temple Square

One day we spend several hours over at temple square looking around. It was a lot of fun and so beautiful! Cute baby Nathan loved watching the huge fountain!

There were several people getting married that day and my boys would walk over to the brides and say, "congratulations" to each of them. How cute!
We went to the 26th floor of the church headquarters and saw this beautiful view of temple square! I've never done that before! This cute old lady gave us a mini tour of the place. She kept asking the same question over and over to us. Scott and I started giving different answers each time. It was funny to see her responses change. I guess it was kinda mean now that I'm writing about it, but it sure was funny at the time! We didn't intend to be mean...

This is where Scott and I were sealed over 10 years ago!
I LOVE YOU SCOTT!!!

We walked across the street to the Joseph Smith memorial building and took these shots. None of my boys have ever been there before. They loved the views of the temple!
This was a great shot of the state building. My grate-grate grandfather was a judge there back in the day! His picture use to be displayed, but last time I went I couldn't find it...The boys thought that was a cool fact though!

The older brothers standing by Joseph and Hyrum Smith. Two great brothers that we all admire so much!

It was a very FUN day!!

Salt Lake City Temple

A couple weeks ago I flew ALL BY MYSELF to SLC to visit family and play before the baby comes. It was SO much fun hanging out with some of my family! The weather was great. On the last day there we stopped off at temple square and walked around for a bit. It's such a beautiful place and the temple is breathtaking. This is where Scott and I were married. I wanted to get a few cool shots of the temple to blow up and put in Scott's office. (blow up= enlarge!)

Here are a few good ones!
