DEVOTION

Last week's Photog word was DEVOTION. A lot of great pictures turned in! Nice word ladies! Hey, if you are interested in joing our photog group, you totally can!! Once a week I'll (the computer) will choose a random word and we have a week to photograph it! Let me know!

Guitar Playing

Yep, I bought myself a guitar! I was inspired last week while watching Shark Tank. Have you seem this show? Love it. Some of the products are lame, other are pretty cool, but this was the first time I told Scott "I want that!!". It was $49.99, but using several of my Swag Bucks I paid only $4.00 for this handy-dandy gadget called The Chord Buddy. You attached it onto a guitar. All you have to do it press ONE button and it'll play a chord for you. Yes, of course it's cheating. But, I LOVE it! I can now play thousands of songs by using this great little invention! I searched KSL and Craislist for some cheap guitars and found this beauty! Yesterday we went to picked her up. Will, Scott and I had a blast playing several real songs. The other boys had a fun time strumming their own tunes as well.

Last week was the boys piano recital. Each of them memorized 2-3 songs and played in front of about 30 people. They all did great!

Brynlee's Wedding

My adorable cousin Brynnlee was sealed in the temple a couple of week ago. It was a beautiful sealing, where her Papa sealed them for time and all eternity! After the ceremony it was super windy and rainy, but that didn't stop the great time we were all having!

Here we all are waiting for the newly married coupls to exit the temple!

Later that night at the reception. Brynn was stunning! The reception was wonderful and the cake was beautiful!
CONGRATULATIONS BRYNNLESS AND ZAC!!! We LOVE you guys!

For Primary last Sunday I made this adorable cloud with rain drops on it. We reviewd the songs were learning and I also added a few activity songs. The children really seemed to enjoy this
cute (and easy) activity. A HUGE thank you to Primary Singing Time Ideas for this great idea!

Tulips and the Temple

The temple is so lovely this time of year with the tulips in full bloom and other plants and trees just starting to bud.

28 weeks and feeling great! (This dress does not photograph well...I'm getting a little sick just looking at it!) Cute Nathan has started pointing to my belly and saying "Hi baby!" and also kissing the baby! So cute!

Springtime at the temple!

On Thursday we headed to the temple to witness a cousin's wedding. We arrived a little early to walk around the grounds and snap some shots of the beautiful temple! Everything in bloom, it was gorgeous there!

Man, am I lucky!

Easter Sunday

After church on Sunday the boys changed their clothes and hunted to find their baskets. After the boys all found them, we went to the backyard for our annual Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza. There were tons of eggs hidden in the yard, all over the yard. All with candy, except 3. Two silver eggs and $2.00 and a golden egg had $5.00 inside. I let the little ones out a few minutes ahead of the big boys, but the big boys still found them all!

All the boys got candy in their baskets with a few eggs that held some change in them. Each of them received a small gift from the bunny. Nathan and Brigham received bubbles and chalk. Gavin and Tyler received a DVD they both wanted. Jackson received this cool hat he;s been asking for. And will wanted new shades (because he's cool like that!)

This picture of Will gets me, bad. He looks like a teenager! Almost a missionary! Crazy how times flies!
Sweet Nathan wanted nothing to do with the egg hunt. He was too busy eating all his candy out f his basket. And Brigham could care less about the silver and gold eggs, all he wanted was the candy. He found 3x as many eggs as the other boys!
Earlier that morning 5 of the boys sang in church with the other Primary kids. They sang beautifully!  After all the egg hunts we ate ham, twice baked potatoes, veggies, homemade rolls... Delicious!

Circus Circus

Circus Circus is a must when the Thompson's come to Vegas. We love, love, love it there! I always find coupons and deals and off we go! There are tons of rides for all my boys! We walked around the dome all together and then split up. I took the little ones and Scott took the big boys. Brigham was shy an inch or two of the water ride and 2 other up side down rides. He was devastated, but I was relieved. He's only 4!!

Gavin went on this ride with Scott...Doesn't look too bad...
...this is what it does! YIKES!!
We played some carnival games and won several small prizes. Nathan wouldn't let go of his 3 platypuses.
We had a very fun day! THANKS Circus Circus!!

Swimming

The main reason we went to Vegas for Spring Break was because I wanted to go somewhere warm so we could play outside in the pools! We love visiting Vegas, one of our favorite places to stop. Our Time Share has a great facility in Vegas. There are tons of pools and play areas for the kiddos.

All the boys played in the pools for hours each day...I got in twice. I focused more on my tan than playing in the water. If was fun to watch the boys play and make new friends.
THANKS VEGAS for another wonderful vacation!!!
