Wagon Time

At my mom's house there are many fun things to do, especially in the backyard. My mom always has a ton of toys for the boys to play with. One is this plastic red wagon that became Brigham's favorite over our little vacation there in Santa Barbara. He first started pulling or pushing it around all over the yard. Then, one day, he decided to climb inside. Tyler saw him climb in and thought it would be fun to give Brig's a ride around the yeard. Brig's was in heaven. When Tyler stopped, Brig's put up a little fit and then Tyler would push him around again. It was really cute to watch. Right beyond the grass line but not quite to the creek there is a very slight hill. Tyler would take Brigham over there and give him a little push, and the little red wagon would slowly go down the baby hill by itself. Sometimes the wagon would stop by the huge tree and other times the wagon would start running over the ivy to slow it down.
One day when they were all outside playing, I hear this loud shriek from Brigham. I could tell instantly it was a pain cry. On his travel in the red wagon down the itty bitty hill his forehead met up with the corner of the old wooden swing, and BAM knocked him out. Literally. A huge black and blue goose egg instantly appeared on Brigham's little head. Tears continued to stream down his little chubby cheeks. Poor guy! As soon as he settled down we went right back outside to ride in the wagon again. I didn't want him to become afraid of his new favorite toy. He had no problems with it anymore, and once again his eyes lit up and he was in heaven. From then on Tyler aimed the little red wagon in a slightly different direction.

Crazy Daisies!

Last year I planted, by seed, daisies in my mom's front yard. I always try to do a little gardening when I visit because I love it so much, but also it's so easy to grow things in Cali!

These were taken in front of the crazy tall daisy plant in my mom's front yard after church one Sunday. Brigham had already fallen asleep, and then I forgot to take a shot of him in front of the beautiful plant. Bummer.

Zoo Camp

One of the camps the 4 boys went to while visiting in Santa Barbara was Zoo Camp. They all loved going and had a great time.

In the kids play area these is this hill that has this fake grass that is real slick and fun to ride down. You can just sit on your bottom and go down, but if you have a small piece of cardboard you zoom down the hill. I went down, and it was a blast. Papa went, and then Nana even tried it.

Airport Fire Sation

Have you ever been to one? Well, if you have kids it's a MUST! Even fun for adults! We've been a few times and it never gets old. We also visit regular fire stations which are also a lot of fun. But an airport fire station is a little different. The rigs are bigger and they just have different equiptment.

Fishing with Papa!

Everyday in Santa Barbara Will asked Papa if they could go fishing together. So, finally on one of the last days of our sweet vacation Papa took him. They first checked on-line how the tide would be and when the best time to go was. They left early in the morning and by 11am Gavin, Tyler, Jackson and myself joined them for a little bit. It was sunny, warm, lite breeze, beautiful and fun to watch the kids fish.
Papa caught a sting ray. They had to use pliers to take out the hook, and then he tossed it back into the water. There was a seal that kept circling where everyone was trying to fish. The boys liked seeing him, but the fisherman did not.

7 Months and doing great!

Here are a couple of pic's of my growing belly taken in my mom's backyard. I am wearing one of Scott's t-shirts because I was missing him tons that day!
It's funny because one person will say how small I look and then the next will be telling me how large the belly already is. He is kicking all the time and having a ball in there. I still feel fantastic! I am super surprised that I feel so good. I am very blessed!

Yogurt Land

Have you heard of this place? Oh my, it's SOOOOO good and the price is great! They have a brand new one in Santa Barbara and while we were there we went three times. It's so good. It's so good, we put it on the list of places to visit when Scott can come to Santa Barbara!

There are like 15 different kinds of yogurts you can choose from, and YOU fill your own cup! The price is by the weight. After filling your cup with whatever yogurts you like, there are a ton of toppings to choose from. YUM! A whole section of fresh fruits and another of various candies.

My favorite was the chocolate yogurt with peanut butter yogurt topped with Reece's pieces. I also loved the pistachio yogurt. The boys seemed to always choose strawberry or chocolate with either gummy bears, or cookie dough.

After we would sit and eat out yogurt's together. They were so yummy.

THANKS Nana and Papa for taking us there! Can't wait till next time!

Chocolate anyone?

For a special treat I bought the boys (Gavin and Brigham) doughnuts for breakfast. I purchased them the night before and of course they couldn't wait till morning. So, I served them for dessert. Brigham would only eat the top portion of the doughnut. He loved the chocolate, can you tell?

Cool Pool!

On of the doctor's Scott use to work for invited us over for a BBQ ans to play in their pool. They had it custom made, and it was so much fun! Gavin, Brigham, Scott and I went while the big boys were in Santa Barbara. The Butterfield's are a great family. THANKS for such a wonderful time!

Scott taking Gavin down. Then Brig's. Both boys ended going down the slide by themselves. I even went down several times. It was fast and fun!

After swimming for several hours we had a bbq. Here is Gavin eating his cheese burger over by the playground.

Brigham kept stealing Scott's and taking bites.

Feelin' Good!

So, I'm about 6.5 months along now. I really love being pregnant, I always have. I am surprised though, how well I am feeling with this pregnancy. Normally I would have the "normal" pains of the lower back or inner thigh area. So far, nothing. Nada. You would think this being my 6th and getting older I would "feel" it more. You know? But, I am feeling great. Of course I am still having the occasional fake contractions, but for me that is totally normal. Hopefully this good feeling will last until I deliver this boy. With the last pregnancy I was not a happy camper the last 4 weeks or so and the delivery sucked rocks. After he was born I learned he was face up. What a difference that makes. Holy Moly! So please keep you fingers crossed that this baby will stay head down, face down, like he's suppose to be. If not, He'll be on a big 'ol time out when he gets here! :)

My lil Superman!

It's a bird... It's a plane...It's Gavin!

Last night before I went to bed, I checked on sweet little Gavin and found him on Jackson's bed snuggling up with his superman doll. It was so cute seeing him sound asleep, laying there so peacefully. Last night Scott didn't come home, because of a work conflict. But I felt safe with my lil Superman to protect me.

Fun in the pool!

When the big boys are here we go to the large pool almost everyday. It cools us off, it's fun and it takes away every one's energy! But since the boy boys have been gone for a while, I brought out the little kiddy pool and place it in the front yard. We've done it several times, and it's been really easy and fun. I have also sat out in the sun with my feet dangling in the water to work on my tan. It's coming a long nicely! :)

Here are some pictures of the fun we've been having!
