Jackson's Baptism

Today was an extra special day for our family. We've been talking about it for months. Jackson has been excited for this event and anticipating it for some time now. When our boys turn 8 years old a couple things happen before their big day. Jackson and I went shopping for a brand new suit. It's a black pin striped one. It looks so sharp on him. Jackson also picked out an adorable bow tie to go along with it. It's so him. Nana and us bought him his first set of scriptures that we had monogrammed with his name on it. We arrived at the stake center where 7 other little boys and girls met to be baptized. Jackson was the only child from our ward. We all met together in the chapel and then moved to an individual room where the baptism was performed by Scott. Jackson had a pretty good turn out of family and friends. Nana and Papa had flown in and some of Scott's family drove in, his primary teacher, cub scout leader, primary presidency, close family friends, cub master, Bishop, and children from his primary class were all there to show their support and love for Jackson. Jackson looked so handsome in his white baptismal outfit. When Scott and Jack walked into the water all the other children were able to sit in the front to watch. Brigham and Gavin almost went in. (Jumped in really!) Tyler kept telling me he wanted to be baptized too. That is so cool! What a great example Will and Jackson are to the other little brothers.

Congratulations Jackson!!
