Heritage Park

We visited Heritage Park a few weeks ago, and it was awesome. It was a small town of homes and businesses from back in the 1800's. I loved it. The people that worked there were dressed up. There were games, chores, gardens, songs and so much other fun things to do.

The boys panned for GOLD then took it to the bank to cash it in for some candy. FUN!

What a great place to visit and to remember what the pioneers, our ancestors, did day to day and how they lived. It was a great experience and I am thankful for each and everyone of them. They each sacrificed so much and it was clear by how they lived. But also you could tell how joyful their hearts were to see how they came to a dessert plain and made a beautiful community to live in.
